State Apartments
Step inside the famous Windsor Castle and visit the State Apartments. The ceremonial rooms are regularly used for official ceremonies and occasions and are furnished with astonishing pieces of art from the Royal Collection. The Semi-State rooms are open from autumn to spring each year and are the private apartments created for George IV. These rooms have the most lavish interiors in the Castle and were used by Queen Elizabeth II for official entertaining purposes.
Queen Mary’s Dollhouse
Built in the early 1920s for Queen Mary, the consort of George V, this dollhouse is the largest and most famous dollhouse in the world. With contributions from over 1500 craftsmen, this dollhouse includes electricity, running hot and cold water, and working lifts!
Located in a specially designed room in Windsor Castle, guests can take a close look at the dollhouse and admire its intricate detail.
St George’s Chapel
While you’re visiting Windsor Castle, you’ll also be able to go inside St George’s Chapel – the burial place of 11 monarchs including Queen Elizabeth II and Henry VIII. This iconic chapel was also the wedding venue of Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle. Entry to St George’s Chapel is included in your Windsor Castle ticket, allowing you to see the final resting place of Queen Elizabeth II (excluding Sundays).
