Red Route – Cordoba Panoramica
Explore the city with the red route as we take you to our first location, Jardin Botanico – Zoologico. Perfect for families and kids, start your day at the beautiful Botanical Garden where you can go for a stroll before going to the zoo! Spend the morning with nature as you admire the beautiful flowers and discover the wildlife.
Enjoy the views from our open-top bus and ensure to hop off and explore Santa Marina church. Its architecture is significant as this monument represents the previous churches and mosque that once stood in its place.
Visit the beautiful Arco del Portillo – a 14th century arch which served as a door that was used at night to protect the people of the city. Blue Route – Cordoba Intima
The blue route begins at Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos (Castle of the Christian Monarchs) as you explore the mosque/cathedral that was once occupied by a Visigothic fortress. Taking you to the religious and historical monuments of the city, the next stop on the blue route is the famous Mezquita-Catdral. Although this is a cathedral, due to it once being a mosque, it is famously known as the Mezquita and the Great Mosque of Cordoba. With stunning architecture and rich history, this landmark is a must-visit!
Stay on the blue route for some more stunning sights such as the Plaza de las Tendillas. This is Cordoba’s main square and is the most beautiful plaza in the city. With a statue of the Gran Capitan surrounded by fountains in the middle of the square, this is a great place to visit with lots of restaurants nearby too!
