The Charleston Festival of Lights is a famous annual event that takes place at James Island County Park during the holiday season. This Charleston holiday lights tour will take you down the 3-mile Festival Drive, showing you over 700 displays and over 2 million sparkling lights, all from the comfort of a vehicle.
Your experience begins at the Charleston Visitor Center where you will board the minivan. Sit back and relax as you admire the lights dazzling above you. Enjoy the sights as you’re driven to the Festival of Lights.
Admire the beautiful displays from the comfort of the warm vehicle as you enjoy spectacular views. After the drive, you can enjoy an hour and a half of free time to explore the festival by foot. See Santa and his elves, enjoy cosy treats and drinks from the stalls, and find souvenirs and Christmas gifts.
For a small fee, you can also hop aboard the Festival Express train which will give you an up-close view of the light displays or join a Reindeer Workshop where children can build their own furry friend. With lots to see and do at the Charleston Light Festival, this tour offers an easy and convenient way to see the mesmerising lights while enjoying the festival yourself.
